Doesn't it have a "space-age, futuristic" ring to it? 2010....as a kid I dreamed of bi-level skyways and metallic clothes; let's not forget the vision of flying cars. Many of you may have already read A Decade in Review http://www.cnbc.com/id/34209119, what a great article. We've come a long way, but maybe 2050 will hold The Jetson's lifestyle I dreamed about in the 80s.
It's time to reflect on our experiences in 2009 and think about what 2010 can hold out for each one of us. As we count down the days, let's make a pact to turn a new leaf!
Ask yourself:
- Which bad habits do we need to kick?
- Can we replace them with positive habits -- like returning all calls by COB?
- What things made us unproductive and how do we change those time wasters?
- What really makes me happy?
- How do I spend my day and what changes can I make personally to make it more satisfying, productive or profitable?
- Which things can I eliminate to reduce stress and find more balance in my life?
- Am I spinning my wheels with a person or an account I need to cut loose....hard one to think about, right? But some people really are wasting our time! And time is money, so move forward and move on!
- Is my career heading in the right direction?
